As from the 1st May we are taking bookings for family households only. This means that provided the equipment is to be used for siblings and family members who live in that household only! We will drop off and set up the equipment, we won’t enter the play area but may ask you to check inside. We will leave a dettol disinfectant that kills 99.9% of all known gems. We would ask that you the hirer clean the castle with this before we arrive to pick it up or as we are there. This was normally done by us anyway.
We also ask that the way to set up area would made as easily accessible as possible and would rather not come through your house. We would cancel if we had any signs of symptoms of covid-19 and would ask that you would too if anyone in the house has any symptoms too. Any moneys paid before would refunded on either case.
The equipment itself wouldn’t have been used for at least 120 hours (5 days and usually a lot longer) before your hire. This will hopefully ensure that any covid-19 virus, if any, would have died in this time. The World Health Organisation say:-

The most important thing to know about coronavirus on surfaces is that they can easily be cleaned with common household disinfectants that will kill the virus. Studies have shown that the COVID-19 virus can survive for up to 72 hours on plastic and stainless steel, less than 4 hours on copper and less than 24 hours on cardboard.

The above paragraph is from the world health organisations website and means if the surface hasn’t been cleaned at all.
